Maddy,

go to Pages in Admin menu and look for a (hidden) page called "Search Results". if it is not present create it (in root level or child of Home) and set not to display in menu.

Open Search Results page and validate, that it contains a single instance of Search Results module. if not, add it.

Clear your recycle bin and try again.

I can see Search Results page and also the search,I cleared the Recyle Bin but I don't know whether it has single instance of Search Results module or not.

How to do that?

Thanks,

Maddy.

I totally agree with Maddy, How can we verify whether it has single instance of Search Results module or not.
I would like to know how.

Thanks.

Also having problems with search with DNN 5.4.3.  Search comes back with an empty search results page.  I have removed all other pages and modules that may have had a search results module in them.  I have even searched the module table with SELECT * FROM Modules WHERE (ModuleDefID = 87), and only getting the one result on a new page linked to home.

this sounds very strange, did you clear and rebuild the search index (see www.deutschnetnuke.de/tabid/134/Default.aspx)?
