Whenever I enter something in the search bar I don't get any results.I'm using DNN 5.0.0.1.

Where as the web(google) search is working fine but local search(as mentioned above) is not working.

How can this be resolved.

It's fixed in the next version, in order to work around this you need to create a new page with a search results module.

Hi Alex,

I'm using DNN 05.00.01 according to the host settings page.

Is my version the latest version or should I upgrade it to the next(probably latest) next version.

Is the next version out or when they are going to release?

Will your solution work with my current version?

And finally I apologise for posting the same question so many times.

Thanks,

Maddy.

Maddy,

currently, 5.0.1 is the latest experimental version of DotNetNuke, current stable version is 4.9.2.

to solve your issue, you simply need to make sure, that there is exactly a singl page in your portal, which has the "Search Results" module placed on it. I suggest also to clear the recycle bin.

Hi Sebastian,

I think I'm not able to understand your suggestion.

Can you elaborate it how to do it by step wise.

I'm using the latest version of DNN,I verified it.

I have 24 pages which is live and running and I can see search in each page.

I'm no expert in this field but I'am learning by one step at a time.

Thanks,

Maddy.
