I'm having searching the forums, so I'm not sure if this has already been posted.  After installing the ActiveDirectoryModule and enabling it as a method of authentication, I get the following behavior:

Visit http://www.example.com/myportal/Default.aspx -> The portal is redirected to WindowsSignin.aspx, which has the Integrated Windows Authentication checkbox marked in IIS, so there's a dialog that pops up.  If I hit cancel at this point, the page fails authenticate, and I get a

HTTP Error 401.1 - Unauthorized

error.

At this point, if I revisit http://www.example.com/myportal/Default.aspx, I get redirected to the Login.aspx page and presented with a login dialog.

I would like to know how to avoid the initial redirect to WindowsSignin.aspx.  Thanks.

Comment out <add name="Authentication.... /> in the <httpModules> section of your web.config.

That worked.  Thanks.
