Ok, I'm really curious about this because I can't find any information on it anywhere. What do the different Authentication Types do in the AD provider? Which is better for what situation? I'm using DNN as my intranet and everywhere I look I always see "use Delegate for Authentication Type" but I don't know what Delegate does and I don't know what any of the others do either. Can someone explain please?

I don't think I've ever found any good information either and the types are filled automatically by the DirectoryServices component from Microsoft. I think I've got a book at home that explains them all. I'll try to remember to check tonight.
