I'm having as inssue where when I can view my DNN site from the server machine but not remotely.

When I access the site remotely i get an error "Page cannot be displayed" "Cannot find server or DNS error"

If i put an html page into the directory "index.thml" it is served. When i remove it ... the error returns

I'm only three days old with DNN but I've spent two days alreaady trying to get a view of the site that I built in an hour across the net.

Please help .... please ...

I found an issue to the solution.

I was supposed to add url i was trying to access the portal from to the portal aliases.

Log into the portal with the host account and add the alias

Say you are trying to access the site with the URL http://mysite.dyndns.org

Add mysite.dyndns.org to the aliases.

I hope this saves a few people the stress ...
