I am new to DNN and my primary interest (right now) is in building a launching point for custom Crystal reports.

If anyone has done this I am interested in what Crystal package is used and how the launch was configured.  Most of the reports will have selection criteria that need to be collected and passed to the report.  I would also like to be able to email copies of the reports to the person running the report.

Any direction appreciated,

Hi Bill,

I have not used Crystal Reports with DNN... my research into it last year left me wanting something else.  So I wrote my own module to create PDF reports from stored procedures.  If you're interested, check it out at http://www.beldintechnologies.com/PdfReports/tabid/57/Default.aspx.

The current version works on DNN3.x and lets you specify 3 criteria to be passed to the report.  I just finished a new version for DNN3 and DNN4 that allows you to pass unlimited selection criteria, display images, and output to PDF or XLS tab delimited.  It will be up on my site in the next day or two.  I've also been toying with adding the "Email this report" functionality to this version.

Hi Charlie,

 I am using crystal reports in DNN 4.8.00? But when I using ReportDocument object in my code it gives me an Error (ambiguous ReportDocument Method) . I want to give Dynamic dataset to my crystal report So Any suggestion. How to set Dataset dynamically to crystal report in DNN?

Also Chart can't create in DNN Render error occured?
