I've just installed DNN 5 on a webhost4life domain primarily because it was all that was available. Truth in advertising: I'm a SharePoint guy but the number of users I expect on this site will be more than I can afford in a WSS 3.0 hosted environment so there ya go! I've known, read and looked around in DNN for years but never took the plunge because it wasn't necessary. Now it is and DNN is a real-live-no-kidding product! Who knew?!  ;) The core use of my site beyond what I am developing myself is the DNN forums.

Anyway, I installed over the weekend and am really impressed with the skinning capabilities. The problem I'm having is that I cannot set up a new verified user (myself with my hotmail account) because I'm getting an email error. When I go to the smtp settings area in the admin - site settings page I can test the email account and it works fine.

The exception logged is: Mailbox unavailable. The server response was: <myaccount@hotmail.com> No such user here

Incidentally, the first exception that I got was for admin@admin.com which I cannot find anywhere in the settings. I got this exception about 10 minutes before the exception above.

Does anyone have any ideas? I'm looking forward to getting some interesting Silverlight controls up but I've got to get the basics figured out first.
