Hi ,

i looked everywhere but i can't find a very stupid thing. Where can i change the page icon?

Currently it's DNN page icon, which is nice, but i need to replace it.

I tried in page functions but i got bad results.

I am suspecting that there are specific format/properties issues regarding the page icon file...

Help please

If you mean the favicon, that is displayed beside the page name on tabbed browsing or in favorites, place an favicon.ico file into the portal root folder.

if you put it into the root of your DNN installation, it automatically replaces DotNetNuke favicon for all portals (if first installed release was DNN 3.1.1 or less). If you place it into portal root (e.g. /portals/0/favicon.ico), it is automatically used for this portal (as far as this is supported by the client side browser) and replaces DNN favicon (DNN 3.2.0 and above), see http://support.dotnetnuke.com/Default.aspx?p=2&i=2243.

I am sorry to disapoint you but it doesn't working.

I use the 3.1.1 version and i did just everything you wrote and nothing!

The amazing thing is that the DNN favicon is still displayed although i delete it from DNN installtion folder

p.s. i delete my temporary internet files, cokies etc. before checking the browser again
