Is there a property in the UserInfo which counts the number of logins of an user or maybe a boolean value if a user is a first time user or similar?

Hi Jens,

These data are not available through the default ASP.NET membership system that DotNetNuke relies upon.  A custom provider could, in theory, expose these sorts of data, but this would be present a light-to-moderate development challenge.  It is also possible to query this data from the EventLog table (mitigated by the amount of EventLog history you maintain in the database), so you might be able to generate a report using those data.  Regardless, the information is not readily available and will require some work.

Hope this helps!

Is there any information if an user has updated his profile yet or a timestamp of the last user update? I have to synchronize another database with the users data, but the first time he logs in I want to fill his profile with the already available data from the other system.

in this case simply use a property to compare, which is empty on creation and always filled with a value by your sync routine.

Hi Jens,

If you are using the SqlMembershipProvider as the underlying membership subsystem (most installations are), you can use the aspnet_Users.LastActivityDate for this sort of functionality (though note that it may not reflect changes initiated by higher layers in the system).  The aspnet_Membership.Comment field is also a candidate for synchronization kludging, as it is not (currently) used by the higher-level DotNetNuke membership layers.  This latter field is a bit more dangerous, however, as it might be utilized in the future (and is likely already utilized by other applications that use the same membership data).
