Hi all,

I have been using blog module for a week and I have a little problem which I could not resolve. If I ever write something down into summary section, the text appears in Blog section as well. I mean when I read blog, I see the same sentence twice from summary and blog itself.

If I leave the summary section blank, this time In main blog page, there is any summary text visible.

Could you pls guide me about it?

Hi DS,

if you select Incluse Summary In Entry from Module Options, the module will show the summary above the entry. To avoid this, just uncheck this option.

When you leave the summary blank the module automatically attempts to create a summary based on the first few lines of your entry. But the DNN text editor unfortunately always places an empty <p> tag into the summary even if you don't want. When the module finds this tag, it "believes" that this was intentionally left by the blogger. To avoid this, remember to switch the summary text box to source view and delete all the content. Otherwise you may read my blog about this.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

Hi Dario,

Thanx for the valuable info. It is sometimes hard to find something just in front of you. I applied your suggestion from your blog for removing unwanted tags. I have one more question which you might help.

In summary section how can I set FCK Editor font size 13pt as default size so the summary section always displays it as defined?

Hi DS,

this is a FCK editor specific task, unfortunately I didn't try it before, sorry. You may find an answer posting in the FCK editor provider support forum.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa
