I really am finding this most annoying...
With a main User Account (Edit Profile etc) page in place with the User Account module as well as our own custom User Profile setup this has been chosen as our User Page under Site Settings - as any Registered Users clicking on their Name ater login should get sent here (not really wanting it to do more than that).
It's not the only instance of the User Account module in the site... as this module not only is for a User to maintain their details (such as email, password) but also for the registration of a User. So in a few pages this is also there for quick registration but as it's not for the User Account itself (Edit Profile etc) it's not displayed for all Registered Users.
Unfortunately in DNN's attempt to be clever and convenient as an Admin this is always redirecting now to the User Account/Edit Profile page... makin it very difficult to edit the pages at all where the extra registration module is on.
Yes, great - can visit the page in Design mode only.
But again - DNN being "clever" with modules and all of them (eg Text/HTML) only give access to positioning, settings and importing/exporting content - not Edit! (also I don't use the container titles so it's also difficult being sure what is what in Design mode with several modules placed.)
Why is this the case? It's extremely inconvenient and frustating! Is there a way around it that I'm just not aware of?
Note: As I write this and try to think of a solution, a workaround... I figure the easiest way to deal with this is to create yet another user just for editing the content on these pages but without Admin so this redirect isn't so frustrating.
