In the registered email notice "Portal Website Address: somename" where does DNN get the "somename" from, because it's not sending my domain name and I would like to correct this.

For the field preceded by "Portal Website Address", the default email uses the DNN token:  [Portal:URL]

If the "URL" token is not working you might try replacing it with "PortalAlias".  (Sorry I can't say why your URL token may not be working.)

A partial list of available tokens is here

I have 4 portal alias, 1st) localhost, 2nd) for my intranet, 3) domainname.com, and 4) www.domainname.com

I want to use No. 4, so how do I use the atribute name with the number?

Better yet, were can I get a list of all the "replacement tokens"?

As a guess I'd say the 1st is the one taken... so to do this you'd need to access these using the 4th, delete the other aliases and add them again - forcing the 4th to become 1st.

Another option is to simply not use tokens and enter what you want to say.  Of course if the alias changes you'd have to change this again manually.
