I downloaded the install starter kit and it immediately dies when trying to run on Windows SBS 2008 Standard.  Is it possible to run DNN 5 on SBS 2008?  I have seen some of the Newbie guides for installing on Vista, but the process described does not run on SBS 2008 Standard.

Has anyone had good luck with SBS 2008?

What version of DNN?  Can you provide some more details on "immediately dies" - what type of error are you getting?  How are you trying to run it?  Can you give us a quick overview of your install steps?

Like the other comments, a little clarification would be good. However, it have been my experience that running any kind of website/web application on SBS or any server acting as a domain controller will have performance issues.
