I notice a difference in DB creating a new User by these two ways:

1) I create a new User programmaticcally using this code:

Dim UserInfo As DotNetNuke.Entities.Users.UserInfo
UserInfo = New DotNetNuke.Entities.Users.UserInfo
    UserInfo.Membership.Username = "MyUserName"
    UserInfo.Username = "MyUserName"
    UserInfo.FirstName = "MyFirstName"
    UserInfo.LastName = "MyLastName"
    UserInfo.DisplayName = "MyUserName"
    UserInfo.Membership.Email = "MyEmail@MyEmail.com"
    UserInfo.Email = "MyEmail@MyEmail.com"
    UserInfo.Membership.Approved = True
    UserInfo.AffiliateID = Int32.MinValue
    UserInfo.Membership.Password = "MyPassword"
    UserInfo.PortalID = 0
Dim UserCreateStatus As New DotNetNuke.Security.Membership.UserCreateStatus
UserCreateStatus = Entities.Users.UserController.CreateUser(UserInfo)

2) I create a new User in User Accounts page

3) run this SQL:

SELECT    P.PortalID, P.PropertyName, UP.PropertyValue, UP.LastUpdatedDate
FROM    ProfilePropertyDefinition AS P INNER JOIN UserProfile AS UP
    ON P.PropertyDefinitionID = UP.PropertyDefinitionID
ORDER BY UP.LastUpdatedDate DESC

PROBLEM:
You see PortalID is NULL  -not correct-  for User's fields created in step 1)  and is "0"  -correct-  for User's fields created in step 2) 

I'm doing something wrong ?

ps: I'm using dnn 4.8.3

The quickest way to fix this would be to dig in the core source and use the same code...
