Is there a way to have a nicely layed out graphic intensive skin for unauthenticated users... this skin would not have a login box or link.

Then, have a completely different, more functional less graphical skin for authenticated users to use as the company "intranet"

Thoughts?

I think in a less than helpful way Sebastian is asking why would you need or even want different skins when this will probably mean quite different content too.

Not entirely sure how you expect users to log in to use as the company "intranet" without any login box or link. Do you expect them to manually enter a login url link?

All you really need to do is have a page or set of pages setup for each - with the 'public' pages with the graphic-intensive skin and set to unauthenticated users, and the 'intranet' pages with the functional skin and set to registered users only for viewing.
