If you have two parent portals you will have to manage the "session" manually due to the browser not being able to access cookies (or session between domains). Would it be possible to use the Live authentication provider for your solution?

I've not yet tried this but been told you just need to add a record in  the UserPortals with the UserID, PortalID, and Authorised (true).  Then add the appropriate roles from the new portal to that user.

LOL, I was thinking you had built something for this but could not remember where it was. I have used this and it worked very well, it handles adding the record to associate the user with multiple portals etc. I recommend checking it out!

This seems like the perfect solution to my problem.  However I can't get the module to work.  It installed with no errors.

Portal A is setup to send

Portal B is setup to receive.  I tried http://www.PortalB.com.  I tried www.PortalB.com and http://www.PortalB.com/Home/tabid/143/Default.aspx

The module is on the home page of both portals.  Both portals are parent portals.

No matter what I do PortalB will not auto log me in.  It just goes to the home page as directed by the module on Portal A.  The send also looks like it is working because the url it's sending is http://www.PortalB.com/Home/tabid/143/Default.aspx?portaluser=TestName&portalkey=954599366.

I am running DNN 5 and both portals are in the same install.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
