I have searched and searched but only found 1 module to do this.

I have two portals in the same DNN install and I want a user to be able to register for either one and be able to log into both.  They should also be able to go from one portal to the other without logging in again.

Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Is it a parent and child portal or two parent portals( different domain names)?

Either way the user should be able to register with the same username, password and email address on both portals to be able to login in.

If it is a child portal they should then remain logged in. If it is two parents their browser will not maintain the session and you will have to then write a module to handle that. If that is the case I can look into it further and let you know what I find.

this leads me to ask ...... can you have 2 childportals inside a DNN installation but totally different top domain names on each of them?

It's 2 parent portals.

No child portals always reside under the same domain as a parent. For example:

Portal 1: www.dotnetnuke.com

Portal 2: www.dotnetnuke.com/SecondPortal
