Okay, maybe I'm just too stupid to get this on my own. Nothing ever seems to work right. I have DNN 5.00.01 installed, but from there it seems I can't do anything. Is there a book, class, or something else available to teach me DNN 5.00.01 out there? I have found several places that teach outdated lessons, but I need to learn 5.00.01. Please help!

 Sorry Michael,

but DNN 5.0 is an experimental version, not targeted to novice users. I strongly suggest to go with DNN 4.9.4

you will find some online help on this side and there are great sites like www.dnncreative providing further help. And there are a number of Books available.

Cheers from Germany,

Michael, there are several options available for you:

About the status of DNN 5.0.1: There are some issues with that version that make that it is not guaranteed to run a production site with it. DNN 5.1 is in an advanced stage of testing, and will be released later this month. As such, dnn 5.0.1 is a good version to start with, as long as you are not going live with your site on short notice. Once 5.0.1 is released you can then upgrade quite easily to this newer version. Of course, if you want to go with a version that will have no issues, you are indeed advised to go with dnn 4.9.4 instead.
