My ISP is blocking port 80.  So I have to redirect connection to port 8080 with a Service from NO-IP.  What changes to I need to make with DNN because now my users from the internet can not connect.  Even when I try it from my development cpu I get the same message "Internet Explorer Cannot Display The Webpage".

I made changes to my Dynex Router, IIS7 and Windows Firewall Inbound Rules for port 8080.

My NO-IP setting is like this now:
www.domainname.com:8080
domainname.com:8080

Do I make the same changes in DNN with the Alias?  And, would the port number show in the browser?  If so, I would I keep the port number from showing?

I created another VHD Web Server and added HTTP 8080 binding and I was able to connect.  So why can I not connect to the DNN Web Server?  Does DNN only work for port 80?

To allow DNN to run on a non standard port, you need to make two changes.

1.) Add a new portal alias for the site, that includes the port number.

2.) In the web.config, set the UsePortNumber property to "True".

Big Problem and Need Serious Help!  Don't know where to go!  I enabled the UsePortNumber but my NO-IP Service is sending the IP address instead of the DomainName.  How would I get DNN to handle My IP Address even though it's Static?
