I am trying to edit the page layout for a portal and it is behaving incorrectly. I will try to move a page around and it will either not have an effect or will indent improperly and become a child of a different page. I will edit a page and the edit will show up on a different page (I was creating a new page and the edit renamed the Home page instead to the name of the page I was creating).

Another issue is that I will create a page and it will not show up in the menu (I am using a superuser account to do this, and to view the page).

I didn't realize I had a reply to this! I forgot to check the send an email...

I am using DNN 4.8.0.

It is so bad now I am having trouble configuring the site. It jumps around from reload to reload. It also doesn't match the menu on the site.

As a side note, in general it now takes a few minutes before adding a module or make a change for it to appear consistantly on the site.

I am running DNN v 4.8.0.

I didn't think anyone responded as I forgot to click the email checkbox.

I am still having this issue. I am also noticing that my site takes awhile to respond to a change. Then when it does it will go back and forth with repeated refreshes. For instance if you move a module on the page, it will not show the move after making it. If you refresh it moves, refresh again it shows it in the original spot. After some amount of time it 'stabilizes' but this makes it hard to make changes to the site. Could this be related somehow? The pages page listbox will do the same behavior. It is also out of 'sync' with the actual menu.

Ron, I would HIGHLY urge you to upgrade to DNN 4.9.4, if not 5.1.1

There are some security holes that have been patched in the releases since 4.8.0.

I'm running 5.1.1 flawlessly on my personal DNN sites, I highly recommend it.
