the only problem is that it would change the template which i'm sharing for a bilingual website and i'm using a localization extension that devides my site in two different languages with the same template.

Is there a way I can change the app_localresources to be different by language settings?

starting with DNN 4.9.3, there is option to use [Text] token, which uses a resource file inside the app_localresources folder of the skin and allows to provide localization into other languages as well as local text customization per portal (admin::Languages) or all portals (Host :: Languages, Host mode).
