Good morning DNN experts,

This is the second time I am getiing the same result when I copy my DNN site to another location.

  • I copied the database and create another db user with owner permissions on the DB.
  • I copied everything to the new IIS web site.
  • I change the PortalAlias table to point to the new host location.

In IE7, when I access the new site, the brower continuously trying to open the page forever. With Chrome, I am getting a page telling me that I have an infinite loop.

There is something I am doing wrong?

Thanks

Stéphan Bourgeois

Hi Stéphan,

Please make sure the HTTPAlias entered is proper. Mostly it happens if there is slash (/) at the end of the alias. Try by removing the same if any.
