i have implemented the dotnetnuke forums module with the clearskin and it works fine. But i do not want to show a users website adress next to a post.

I can modify images of the theme / skin and the css style sheet but i cannot find the ascx where i would be able to modify the html of the page where a thread is shown. Although there are other ascx-files for other purposes. How can i modify the html that is generated to show a thread (without programming if possible...)?

I don't understand what you are trying to do, what website address are you talking about? Do you mean the users profile in posts view?

As for not modifying the code, that is not possible to change or anything else in threads, posts, forums view without changing the code as the entire layout is built programmatically.

my site is at www.peacedog.nl

i want to change this page:

http://www.peacedog.nl/concerten/Forum/tabid/122/forumid/5/threadid/56/scope/posts/Default.aspx

which shows all the pages on a thread. The following changes i want to make:
- do not show the homeURL / website adress of the user, since the full url is shown which makes the left column very wide when it is a long url
- i want to not show signatures because some people insert awful and big pictures in their signature and it is nog possible to limit the signature to tekst. And the signature has the same css class as the body of the post, i cannot make the text of the signature smaller, which i would like to do.
- and i want to add an extra < p > tag, paragraph between the buttons edit quote reply and the message tekst in the body so that the distinction between text and header is clearer.

these things i could accomplish with some minor adjustments to the html of the page, but you said the html is not editable since it is build up in code. I hope you can tell me how i can accomplish this and if i truly need to adjust the code. I am trying to use dotnetnuke with minimum amount of code changes since this makes maintaince and upgrades easy and keeps the system stable.

thanx in advance.
