I am creating a module. I had to uninstall it and reinstall it. I then made some changes, added a few controls and now want to create a package for it. Problem is that since I lost the .DNN file, there is no way to get DNN to recreate one from the module in the database. How do I get my DNN file back?

you can add the module definition manually as well (Host>Module definitions). Any sql scripts can be run from Host>SQL. After the module is registered, you can have dnn create the install package for you, with an option to auto generate the dnn file

in your localhost development installation go to module definitions in Host menu, select your module and click "create package".
