The issue is that we realized that our portal is in dnn 4.4.1, i searching in the dnn portal, we found this:

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/News/SecurityPolicy/Securitybulletinno21/tabid/1174/Default.aspx

So we want to update as soon as posible to avoid this security problem. But i'll follow your suggestions, in this week we want to update to 5.1 but, as soon as posible change for 5.1.1 version.

That security issue is fixed for 4.9.4 (in fact 4.9.0). I'd still upgrade to 4.9.4 and wait for 5.1.1, assuming 5.1.1 doesn't come out before then unless you really really really need 5.x functionality.

I do agree with Alex's suggestion; IMHO 4.9.4 is the most stable and secure version currently available atm.
