I haven't yet discovered the .txt class.  Can you provide some details or pointers?

I second that. What is the new text class? and How can it style my menu?  I do wish the core team would consider making the menu more flexible and easier to style wit h more options.

.txt is the area and text (in this site PRODUCTS DEVELOPEMENT etc)

Thisexample

.mainMenu .root.sel .txt {padding: 12px 0px 14px 0px; background:  url(../images/menu_text.gif) repeat-x  center; color: red; background-position:0 -37px}
Will fill that area for root items when selected. This part does not affect other areas as the separator or icon.
