Hi,

I was looking for a module that'll allow registed users to invite their friends to join this website. It'll be great if the module allow users to invite their friends from gmail, hotmail, yahoo, facebook, myspace, twitter etc.

Is their any such dnn module ?

Can anyone plz help me to finding such module ?

That does not seem like a module I have seen anywhere so far.  It does seem like something Rodney Joyce (smart-thinker.com) might have played with at some point though.  I also believe that it has been discussed as a Roadmap feature for a future version of Active Social, but that might be more wishful thinking than actual memory.  A simple 'invite a friend' feature could be constructed with Dynamic forms (Data Springs).  But I think you are implying that the user would provide their login information for gmail, hotmail, etc and the module would go pilpher their contacts and build a list of people to send an invite to.  Which does not sound like a trivial effort.  Hopefully I have provided you some leads to track down, but I am looking forward to any other responses people might have to this.  Cheers - Jeremy

I was thinking of writing some sort of contact importer (for use with my league module or to invite to events/the site/groups) but it's a fairly big job. Have you seen this? Easy to implement with a line of JS in a Text module. I think I saw Scott (Ventrian) using it in a module but I can't remember where).

I plan on wrapping this into some of my modules to make it easier to invite people to things but this is a long way off. At the top level I might put it into my Tell a Friend module so that they can add emails quicker...

ps - this is where I saw it, on Scott's Property Agent module. I'm going to intergrate it into my Tell a Friend module I think.
