Hi,

I have a copy of dotnetnuke from a previous hosting provider that I am trying to move to a new one.  the db was in MSSQL 2005 but I have restored it to a MS SQL 2005 express db.

I copied over the whole folder of the DNN installation but when I try to run the application it comes up website under construction and when I got to the install page is says it can't find my db.

Can I get some help on the structure of what the connection string should look like and if I need to do anything specific.

thanks,

Nolan

It should look something like <add name="SiteSqlServer" connectionString="Data Source=.\SQLExpress;Integrated Security=True;User Instance=False;Database=DotNetNuke;" />

Is this the same for the application connection?

It will be the same, except it should be <add key instead of <add name.
