Is there actually a solution to the problem of rendering in IE8?

I am sure that you have all seen it...where the icons on the toolbar are somehow being repeated across the text area..endlessly! lol...


I have tried all the fixes that I could find, and nothing is working for me.

Is anyone else still have problems with this? And if you did, but managed to fix it...HOW???

What happens if you use the compatibility button in IE8, does the problem go away?  If so, as a workaround, you could try putting the compatibility meta tag in your default.aspx until a permanent fix is found. Have a look here: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/...Default.aspx

I assume, the issue is caused by the skin applied to your site.

Just to add to what Sebatian said, try using the default skin that came with your installation for the admin pages (so the fck editor will be displayed in that skin).

OK. I tried the default skin. No luck.

Same problem as before!

Compatability mode did nothing. Error still persists regardless of the skin. I have tried to put the 'force compat mode' line into the default ASPX, I tried to update the RT provider and now have tried the default skin (DNN-Blue) all to no avail....

This is depressing...
