the error in previous but one post seems to be caused by code files not properly updated. please make sure, all files get properly unzipped into the correct folders.

What is the best way to determine if they have all been unzipped?

use a file comparison utility:

KDiif:3 http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=58666
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=58666

BeyondCompare: http://www.scootersoftware.com

WinMerge: http://winmerge.org/downloads/index.php

I've always used BeyondCompare but any file comparison utility will do the trick.

I would also re-download the DNN Install package you might have a corrupted download

I've the same error upgrading to 5.2 from 5.0

When entering in host settings or in any module settings! only site settings work fine.

I've checked the web config with the new moduleCaching and outputCaching section, and all is ok. The installation is go on well but searching in event log I've found an exception during the upgrade process (see below)
