Hi There!!!

I have installed teh AD module in my DNN instance but i m not able to work properly with authentication. could you plaese help me with that. I am getting some problems expalining below:-

1. When i open the website it displays a login box , after entering the login details (without domain, just username and password) it alows me to get in but in DNN databse it takes as Domain\Username . Cant we restrict to enter the domain name in the databse. so it will enter only the username.

2. When the person logged in , in theory it shold synchronize the DNN databse with the Active directory and next time when person will login either by default login interface (which is on the right top side of DNN website) it should allow to login, because its not teh acse with me.

3. Is there anyway if the person is working through intranet then it wont ask for login details it just directly let him in and if person is working through internet then it should ask for the credentials.

Sorry if i have asked a lot of questions.. really but i am stuck with this situtaion and i dont know what i should do. I will really appreciate your help.

Thanks
Akshay

Is the site in the Intranet or Trusted sites list in the Internet Options on the computer you're using? Without it being in one of those two areas you will get the login popup (it's generated by IIS and not by DNN). I think once you get that solved all three of your questions will be answered.
