 Hi everyone,

First off thanks to the Events Project Team for the outstanding job you all are doing.  I have been watching the progress lately and it's very exciting.

I am writing to see if anyone has seen the problem I am about to describe and knows a fix, other than the one I had to implement.

When using a suckerfish menu (e.g. http://htmldog.com/articles/suckerfish/dropdowns/) the event calendar tooltip.js causes a nasty flicker in the rollover menus (IE only).  I eventually traced the problem down to this line at the end of  /DesktopModules/Events/tooltip.js:

document.onmousemove=MoveTip;

For now I simply commented the line out, but I hate to loss the oh-so-cool tooltips, which is what happens when this line goes away.

BTW, we are currently on Events 4.00.02 with DNN 4.9.4.   If moving to 5.00.02 solves this then please let me know.

Javascript is not my forte but I am wondering if we can specify this onmousemove more specifically so that it does not affect my suckerfish div.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Mark,

5.0.2 uses a new tooltip script (BoxOver - but we have still called it tooltip.js) with greater flexibility. I can't say that it will fix your problem, but it may be worth a try.

Cheers
Roger

Thanks Roger.  I am going to try an upgrade and report back here what I find.

Best wishes,

Mark
