Can you also use this module to upload to a drive or directory outside of the dnn site directory structure? If not, is anyone aware of a module (free or pay) that provides this functionality? I need basically the same capability the "File Manager" provides but I have several thousand files on a remote server that I do not want to have to move or upload. I have been trying to use the documents, repository, anf file manager modules to no avail. It seems that the only way these work is if you have your files withing the dnn site directory structure.

Hi,
I think the files can reside anywhere. I tried this module only locally but there are settings for ftp or html access too. Just try it.

if you log into your dnn site using the 'HOST' account, you will see an addtional setting for repository modules on their settings page. You can specify a physical path to where you want your repository files stored and that path can be outside the dnn web folder.
