I had seen an item about this in a previous thread I was participating in regarding image replacement techniques... in the thread, it was reccomended that I use the string <%="http://" & PortalSettings.PortalAlias.HTTPAlias%> in an A element to reference the portal alias.

This time, what I am attempting to do is insert the Page Name and/or Title directly into the skin, in this case to an H1 Element (I prefer to keep H1s out of containers so that they aren't used more than once per page).

I have found this thread regarding using the Page Title, but now I am still searching for the proper syntax for Page Name (as it appears in the menu).

Also, so I don't waste a ton of posts with these requests in the future, is there a good reference of these classes / items? I've looked over the skinning docs, but I don't see any mention of these attributes. Maybe I'm just missing it.

Thanks!

HI

here is how you can use pagename or title directly into your skins

<%=CType(DotNetNuke.Entities.Portals.PortalController.GetCurrentPortalSettings(), PortalSettings).ActiveTab.TabName.ToString()%>

Wells, did you see this project on codeplex?

http://dnnskinextensions.codeplex.com/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=31927

It's a demo skin with most of the framework attributes yoy can use like that.
