Has there been any progress or better solution provided for applying complex backgrounds to DNN sites?  Currently, the options I'm aware of are: 

- Site Settings > Appearance - Works well for solid colors or repeatable images, but I'm having issues working in more complex backgrounds like single-direction repeat (say, for a vertical gradient), no repeat, or more advanced backgrounds (like fixed position, photos, etc.).

- CSS  -  body#Body  -  This is what I wind up using for most my backgrounds, but I still have an issue of that being used for dialogue boxes (Addding links, inserting pics, etc).

Am I missing another, better option?

The issue is logged, but not solved yet:

I think there would be 2 ways around this.

1.set the background from the site settings and the bg CSS in the skin

2. Wrap your skin in a div with height:100% and assign the background to that div, not the body.
