Many things come down to a 80/20 rule. To be honest, you are either 2nd or 3rd in requesting this so I have to think the need for it is very low.

I'd definitely like to see this functionality enabled easily, whether from another module or built into the DotNetNuke Forum module, I don't care. It does seem odd to me that you have only received 2 or 3 (now 4?) requests for posting via e-mail.

I'm adding my vote as well. Some of my users won't use anything else then email to post, so I'll really appreciate if this functionality could be added.
