There's an option in the Godaddy control panel through which you can backup the online database. This *.bak file will end up in an ftp folder, which you can then download if you want. You can also access the database by use of Sql Server Management Studio (if you made the db externally reachable, and turn off collation in SSMS). This way you can locally deploy a copy of your online database. I haven't yet tried to restore from this backup though, it might not work.

Godaddy would probably be the cheapest option. For developing purposes it suits me well, but I do plan to switch once we go live.

So yeah, there are no limits as to module development, just be careful with your database.

Admittedly I can't really compare with other hosting providers due to lack of experience.

Please use referral code number- just kidding ;-)

Thanks for your information.

How much is it for the domain and around hosting for 10 month in USD?

As I know, webhost4life is one good web hosting for DNN project and since you're still a student, the hosting support should be important for your option. Their hosting support are real nice, you can contact with their live chat support anytime as you like.

Good luck!
