I've had my website with DNN for 2 1/2 years now, and updated it regularly.  Now, when log onto my website to make changes, the panel I've chosen to update no longer shows the pictures or text.  They have been replaced with symbols and other text.  Any suggestions as to how to fix this?

Mike

Here is the link to my website:  www.mikelynchbooks.com

On the main page, if you look at the right panel, it has "Available Now", a picture of my novel, and some links below it.

When I log onto my site, and click "Edit Text", instead of seeing the text, picture, and links, I now see this:

<P> </P>

<P> </P>

<P> </P>

<P><FONT color=#ffffff size=4><FONT size=5>       Available Now</FONT></FONT></P>

<P>     <IMG style="WIDTH: 319px; HEIGHT: 549px" height=576 alt="Updated Sky Cover.gif" src="/Portals/0/Updated Sky Cover.gif" width=360 border=0></P>

<P><FONT size=5><FONT color=#ffffff> You can purchase the book at</FONT><FONT color=ffffff>:</FONT></FONT></P>

<P><FONT color=#ffffffsize=6><FONT size=3><FONT size=4>   <A href="http://www.silverleafbooks.com/Books-WhenTheSkyFell.htm"><IMG style="WIDTH:97px;

There is a lot more text in this type of format, but you get the idea.  How can I change all this text back to pictures and the text you see on the main page when I click the "Edit Text" button?

What you are seeing when attempting to edit are the HTML tags for paragraphs, formatting, images, etc. After clicking "Edit Text", make sure that the Editor mode is set to "Rich Text Editor" not "Basic Editor" (Text Box) and that your are not in Source view. You may click the "Source" button in the upper left corner of the editor toolbar to switch between source view and WYSIWYG views.

If changing the edit mode does not fix the problem or if the editor reverts back to basic editor or source mode after saving any changes then clicking "Edit Text" again, let us know what your site is running for its current DNN framework version. AFAIR, there is a setting in Portal or Host Setttings to select the initial editor mode.
