Hello,

i have question about url frendly settings

i wan to se my dnn 5x to show my links like www.mydomain.com/my-page/graphic-design
and mydomain.com to redirect to www.mydomain.com

i don't understand, dnn can not be setted to do this or i can't find settings help

please do not tell me to buy iNfinity Url Master, i have try Friendly Url Provider but it is not working with new dnn (error 404, i have try anything...) !!!
i dont want to install this eather iNfinity will working, what will be if i upgrade dnn to newer version ? maybe problems for all sites...

is it any way to do this with dnn ? i can't beleve that is not possible ...

there is no built in support for using folder names w/o extensions. DNN human friendly URLs always use .aspx extension, e.g. www.mydomain.com/my-page/graphic-design.aspx

Goran : did you post your problem in the iFinity.com.au forums?  A new version of the Friendly Url Provider will be out soon, but the existing one is compatible with most 5.x versions (not yet tested with 5.2.1).    A 404 error sounds like an incorrect configuration entry.  The software does work and will do what you would like to do - there are hundreds and hundreds of sites using it.

No, it is not possible to do with DNN without incorporating a third party module.

Please how can i set dnn to show url www.mysite.com/graphic-design.aspx (not www.mysite.com/graphicdesign.aspx )

with "-" ...

Bruce, i have not post replay to forum, and i have readed faq about 404 problem, and try enithyng

I am developer to, and i understand where can be a problem with wrong web consfig settings,

but i think dnn new version is not supported
