I have a friend using my DNN 4x server that needs to take his portal and move it to his own server. I am not sure how to just export his one portal (data, users, files, etc...). Is there a way to do this? I've looked for days and I cannot find any instructions or utilities that allow a single portal migration.

Thanks,

Todd

I'd imagine that backing up your database, restoring the backup to the new installation, then deleting the 'offending' portals, would be the easiest way... if that's an option for you.  I know I read about portal migration tools for older DNN versions but they could be problematic (I read at the time) and so I didn't test any of them.  Have you checked out snowcovered - I believe there are some there?
