Hi All,

Since the version 2.12 I'm a fan of DotNetNuke ... I use it for my website www.sap-integration.net (first french community dedicated to SAP) and an another dedicated to rebreather and cave diving (www.onplonge.com) ... In my job I use DNN to develop the front-end of the back office of a major Frenche GAS company. I love DNN.

In an another hand I'm SAP NetWeaver Architect. SAP is leading the markent of ERP. But SAP has a awfull user interface (the Netweaver portal has a very bad look and feel... And users prefers to switch to other portal like SharePoint.

With ERP connect and the SAP .net connector It's easy to connect Dotnetnuke to SAP, ... Then I would like to start a new DNN  project dedictated to SAP in DNN... BUT I have one question :

Are we sure that all module develop for DNN 5 will be supported in the next version (6,7,8, etc....) .... ???

Best regards

Jérôme Fortias

Even most modules created for DNN 3 still work in DNN 5. We really try our best to main backwards compatibility, and, unless you are writing code that edges on core hacking, you should be fine. Just always be sure to use only apis, never to directly interect with dnn on the database level (and if you do, try to use the views instead of tables directly)
