Hi! After I've selected the modules I want in the installation wizard, an asp.net yellow error page is shown. With the message The thread was beign aborted.

After that, I press F5 and were redirercted to the Default.aspx page, and get a NullReferenceException on the PortalSettings constructor, on the line 147.

Any ideas?

I would recommend you do a basic installation of DNN, just accept the default modules.

After you finish the installation go into Host --> Extensions and select "Install Available Extensions" then tick off the specific modules you want and at the bottom of the page click "Install Selected Extensions"

I've installed it almost ten times. With the same result.

The only thing I see is that the table PortalAlias is empty. Maybe is that because the PortalAlias is null, ins't it?

Nelson; What flavour of Windows? Which version of SQL 2005 or 2008 express or Server? Which DNN version are you trying to install? This is likely a permissions issue in either IIS, SQL or on you web folder

That's what I supposed. I've a WinXP, with a SQLExpress 2008.

I'm installing de comunity edition directly from Web Platform Installer.
