Hi all

I have added a couple of events modules to my website, it all works OK and if I can get the formatting nicer it will be great. However I have a problem with date formats. I'm in the UK, my PC is set up to show UK format dates and the page with an events module (in list mode) viewed by IE8 shows the dates just fine. The same page viewed in Firefox shows them in US date format.

It's not the end of the world but it is rather puzzling and could be confusing for users of the website. I can't find any localisation settings within firefox except for the "language" which is set to "English/United Kingdom [en-gb]".

I'm running Win7 64 bit, if that makes any difference.

Regards
John

Thanks Ernst Peter, I decided to go through the set up in the FAQ. Trouble at the first attempt though - I can't find the "Languages Dialog in the host menu"

I've taken a screendump of the host menu options and (hopefully) you can see it here

Best regards
John

In DNN 5 it is accessed via the Admin menu. Admin/Languages/Add New Language.

Cheers

Look, I'm really sorry about this but I have gone through the FAQ for the date format and the problem remains.

My v5 DNN is a bit different to the description in the FAQ but everything looks OK I think. English UK is an installed language, it is the default language for the site, I don't think setting users up will make an difference as it's showing incorrectly when not logged in. The only thing I couldn't find was the option to "disable browser language detection" so perhaps that would fix it. Where is it though?

Thanks
John
