First off thanks in advance for any reply or help provided about this question.  You all work hard to have other jobs and still provide helpful information on your own time.

My question is...In the small events module calendar, how can I add an event where the title of the event does not show up on the calendar, but when you hover over the date the popup menu shows you the title and details of the event?

I do not want the small calendar to expand when I add an event.  I just want to add the event and only view it when I hover over the date.  I hope this makes sense.

Thanks.

Hi David,

If you untick 'Enable Month View Cell Events' then you should only get a highlighted date. I forget whether it the always shows the number of events on the day or whether that is an option (too many changes, I get confused). The tooltip should then show all the events for the day (because you may have more than one). The tooltip is templated, so you should be able to put whatever information you want on it.

Cheers
Roger

Roger,

Thanks so much for your quick response.  Sorry I am just now replying.  You are right, it does show the number of events on each day.  It is displayed like this:

5 (This number being the date) and underneath it, displays 1 Event(s).  The only problem is the 1 Event(s) part is causing the table within the calendar to expand horizontaly and verticaly which causes it not to have a uniform calendar "look and feel".  I would like to set the module up where only the date had a hover effect and the 1 Event(s) part did not even show up.

Do you know how I can take out the 1 Event(s) part from this module?

Many thanks for all of your help.

David
