So I finally setup the Blog module on my site and I'm quickly finding two quirks on the Entry date field.  A blog entry created with an entry date of 5/3/2006 is posted. I then edit the blog the and the edit text box of the Entry Date fields contains 5/1/2006. Further, when changing the date to 5/4/2006 and clicking on Update the blog entry now shows as 5/3/2006.

The other bug is when changing the format to display as "Monday, May 01, 2006 11:00 PM" I edit the entry and change the 1 to a 3 and click update. I get an error saying that "Monday, May 03, 2006 11:00 PM" Entry Date is not a valid date.

In some cases (use of different time zones for server, blog, browser) you have a problem with the date format which displays only the date.

Try to use a date format which displays the date and the time instead.

I'm not sure that addressed the issues I'm seeing. All my timezones are set to be the same. And when I did set it to a date format that shows the date and time, I am experienced the bug previously described that changing the date returned the error invalid date.

Dan,

thanks for the account and the link.

I have done some tests, and I see that you have an incredible problem on your site. I'm not sure what really happens on your site. I will try to reproduce that problem in one of my test environments.
Maybe it is a DNN 4.X problem!
