Have read a number of install tutorials and wanted to point out that things are a lot easier if you use the Microsoft Web Platform Installer to install DotNetNuke Community Edition.  It installs all the prerequisites and configures all the server settings so you don't have to worry about it.  Everything is free.

This is currently the default install experience on the http://dotnetnuke.com download page.

Or you can see it at http://www.microsoft.com/web/gallery/....  Over 100,000 downloads and counting.

Good luck,

Matt Powell, Microsoft

Thanks Matt, I always recommend using WebPI whenever the user has direct access to his server. :)
