I played around a bit... and noticed I could make new taxonomy vocabularies and add those tags to pages and modules.  My question is: what does it do?

Should the bottom of the page show "Tags" ? Does it increase SEO?  Does it make pages easier to find rather than using the menu?  etc.  Sorry if this is a basic question!

please be aware, that DNN 5.3 just contains the first bits, there will be more in DNN 5.4. you may however use Watchers.net TagCloud from codeplex.com to display tags on the site.

To keep this forum somewhat useful, can you please answer the question? Frankly, I am getting very frustrated with the lack of documentation. You just released DNN 5.4.2 with the taxonomy feature for the entire world use, but you didn't provide any documentation on how to use it? I just don't get it. Please help me understand! It has been this way for years.

You might be interested to note that Chris Paterra has just started a 6 part blog series on implementing the core taxonomy in a module.  His first entry is posted here.
