Hi All,

In anticipation of upgrading my production DNN 4.84 site to v5, I've copied the site to my workstation running W7, IIS 7 and SQL Server 2005. I've made all the changes I think I need to make to get the local site running, but all I get from IE is 'Page cannot be displayed'. My production site is running AD Authentication, so it's ocurred to me that it might be causing a problem locally.

Does anyone know how I can turn authentication off in the code/database ( I don't want to turn it off in production, copy the site to my workstation and then turn it on again in production)?

Thanks

Well it helps if you turn on the WWW publishing service on the local machine...but now I get an IIS 7.5 "Server Error in Application in 'DEFAULT WEB SITE/SiteName" The server error being HTTP 404 (...resource not found...)

Anyone have any idea if my suspicion about the authentication module being active is warranted?
