 Hi All,

Today i found very strange scenario related to HTML module, i am using DNN ver 5.1.4.

What is happening is i have used 5 HTML module controls on my site for static html. Everything works perfect on my local machine. But when i deploy my site to production, i found one strange behavior with the HTML module control.

I edit the html of the static page it displays me that change in Edit mode but when i switched to View mode that change got disappear. again when i went to edit mode that change was there.

This is happening with all the HTML module control on my site over production server.

After googling for some time i came up with the solution to remove all the HTML module from the page on production server and add them again, and believe me everything started working well.

But the problem is i cant ask my client to do this when he deploy on his server, so if you have any work around please let me know.

I know there are so many DNN master available here to take me out of this.

Thanks,

Abhishek Trivedi

I assume, you did switch the workflow to approval, i.e. in edit mode you get displayed unpublished content, while in preview mode, published previous version is displayed. you might consider upgrading to 5.3.1, where a number of issues have been fixed.

Please let me know.

Thanks.
