A critical error has occurred.
Method not found: 'System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary`2<Int32,DotNetNuke.Entities.Tabs.TabInfo> DotNetNuke.Entities.Tabs.TabController.GetTabsByPortal(Int32)'.

I am not sure where to look to beginning fixing this error. I am developing locally with SQL 2005 Standard edition and I also have VS 2008 running on my machine for debugging.

I would recommend restoring the site back to 4.09.00 using your file system and database backups then upgrading in the following two steps:

First - Upgrade to 04.09.05

Second - Upgrade directly to 05.03.01. Note that if you have the XML module already installed you will need to either uninstall it (if not in use on one of your portals/pages) or first upgrade the module to the XML 04.03.05 release candidate BEFORE upgrading the site to 05.03.01. The XML release candidate is available on CodePlex (http://dnnxml.codeplex.com) or can be found inside the Install/Module folder of you upgrade package. If using the XML release candidate from the Install/Module folder, rename its file extension .resources to .zip.

As always, obtain a backup of the site's file system AND database before each upgrade step.
